At last John Mcfee gets the win he so richly deserves, any win in Moto 3 is exceptional but that was top draw,I thought hed blue it when he slipped back to 7th but he just plugged away picking them off one by one,and these are no dummies, hard, nothing to lose youngsters who don't give a toss for anyone.Brilliant absolutely brilliant. :woot :woot

Bought a couple of cheap Chinese "Projector" spotlights on Ebay...stuck them on the FZS600. OK they are cheap and they look cheap, but WOT a difference...! :eek

In a lot of cases it's down to budget. Personally if I don't camp, I can't go. If you've got shed loads to spend in hotels and bnb's, great.

Sorry, didnt mean to come across as a flash moneybags,I just dislike camping, but its great if you do and certainly an economical way of touring. :thumbup

What, no "stay in a nice comfortable hotel" ? You lot are slipping  [/size]

I did the North Coast 500 in 2017. Camping was the only option, as all the B&Bs were booked up months, if not years in advance by foccing softies.

Me and my beloved toured for 14 years on 2 pan euros, always as "foccing softies" in hotels and B&Bs,we loved it,especially in France and Holland  ;) fuck that camping lark, cold and soaking wet, aaaargh! no way :eek  Tell you what we did find though, some underwear that you could wash at night and it would be dry in the morning,I cant remember the make just now but if I think of it Ill let you know.

I hate insurance renewal time. I logged on last week to take out a new policy with someone else, only to find that my insurer had already taken the renewal payment (gone up £30) from my account without my permission. Ive now had the payment returned (after 5 days) and taken out a new policy with someone else, and saved £25 on what I paid last year too
There generally a tickbox where you give permission for auto renewal  when you pay the first time.  It's probably already ticked

it definitely will be ,theyre crafty bastards you have to cancel it. :\

Looks like nobody wants to go to a castle/ruins,so what about your bike by a nice barge or boat if you cant get near a towpath. :lol

Thing is I already am overflowing with sockets otherwise it would be the bacho if I had nothing already

When I used to do welding at a garage most of the mechanics there had Snap on cabinets full of cracking tools and I used to blag some of the older ones off them because they were really fanatical and would replace good tools just because they were a bit worn, anyway over the years Ive collected 2 cabinets and a couple of tool boxes full of pretty much everything youd need the thing is over the last few years Ive noticed that whether its on the bike or car I never seem to use more than a handful of the same tools over and over,I swear I could get by with a 3/8 drive socket set,a few Torx bits, allen keys, some heavy tools etc.It makes me wonder whether it was worth buying and collecting all those tools,I think Ive got 2or3 1/2 inch drive socket sets,5 or 6 metric ring and combi spanner sets etc, etc, then the other day I was putting some rear pads on my daughters car and had to buy a large Torx socket!!! it makes you wonder how many of these old tools will be any good on modern cars in the future don't it ? :lol
