FZS600 Fazer / Re: Rear caliper bolts
« on: 13 July 2015, 02:58:38 pm »
I ve rebuild brake caliper on my current car about 5 months ago. Both pistons are in a very sorry state, so neither the £39 or the £44 service will sort it out. As soon as i get all the parts i will treat the 2 half of the caliper in a solvent bath then a thorough clean then rebuild. For that have been quoted between £135-£175.

Ps its my rear brake, that i use perhaps once per thousand miles.

I am working on a slight different angle in order to sort the poir lighting on my fzs.
at first i changed the bulb to nightbreakers unlimited which did improve the lights, but still could be better.
i sourced from scrapyard 2 projector headlight and i am in process of fitting them to a spare assembly.
as both came from uk cars the beam does not need adjusting. Only the aim.

FZS600 Fazer / Indicator in mirrors
« on: 11 March 2015, 07:52:52 pm »
hello boys and girls

A mate of mine given me a set of universal mirrors with the amber led indicators.
Tried to wire them directly to the front indicators but none worked. having a googling around
i ve found out that i may need some sort of flashing adjuster for led indicators.

Now would a resistor do the same job? if so how do i find out what resistance value?
at the moment the wires for indicators are not connected.

Cheers

So this morning, in my neck of woods, it was -1C and a thin layer of frost.
My Fazer (`98) is at moment grounded with radiator problem.
So ordered a replacement one...

After all that rambling what I wanna know is... Coolant... The usual blue one mixed with antifreeze or the pink stuff already mixed?

Cheers guys.

I suffer from OSA and had to endure a 12 months without licence (2years ago), because at the time my neuroligist queried secondary epilepsy. After all the tests carried out proved normal and within the parameter a student nurse suggested OSA... An whadd'ya know... I have had my license back now.

What I don't get is... Your motorcycle does not comply with Euro 3 emission... But you still can ride... Paying £12.50 for the privilege... If you ask me this is another cash cow, rather than complying with all the bullshit they trying to spew... Plain and simple.

Hi guys I ve picked up the above, its a Pacific PHC203. It comes with everything needed but unfortunately no manual.
With the DVD on the sound is truly amazing, I want to know if it is possible to have the sound system with the telly alone?
Sorry to the admin/mod if this isn't the correct section.
