I was on GIF GAFF last year and there were 4 times when they had issues and all services were off with no services working. They run on O2 network so if they have issues or high volume they stop GIFf GAFF customers before their own.


I switched to 3 mobile. 12 month SIM only contract, 500MB data, 200 minutes, 2000 texts £6.50 a month

Just over a year ago I wanted a bike that was more economical to run so I traded in my FZ1S for a CB500X and left the forum.


The X is a good bike for commuting, I have averaged 74mpg over 4,500 miles and my insurance fully comp was £96.


After a year I am getting bored of not having enough power which can be a pain when overtaking, especially with a pillion so today I traded in the CB500X for a 6 month old FZ8 which I collect on Wednesday so I am back  :D

I dont know how it could either but it worked. Theres was load of really thick clumps of old chain lube in there, the bike accelerates better now as well as gear changes in 1st and 2nd being easier.  :lol

I had exactly the same problem with mine a few weeks ago. The weekend I noticed loads of used chain lube that had gone to a thick sticky mess around the front sprocket, I spent an hour on Saturday cleaning it out and now it's fine and doesn't do it anymore

I have had my Fazer for about a year now and this week I thought I had an oil leak. I took a closer look today and it looked like it had seven years of old chain lube caked behind the front sprocket cover. I took me over half an hour to pick it all out
