I had my gall bladder removed by laparoscopy in 2009
Went like a dream and I have the three 'stab wounds' also As I had pancreatitus at the time caused by the gall bladder I was glad to get rid of it Funny thing is now- without that bile store I get indigestion pretty easily but - hey! no more pain- believe me pancreatitus isnt fun! Worth having again- alternative is an episode of Holby City with retractors and scapals and much letchup!.... not trying to put you off here! 331

We went outr on the bikes on Friday and it was hell as soon as you stopped anywhere- a roundabout with traffic on was bad enough and needed the air passing through your kit as soon as you got going again!
Still musnt' grumble- snow in Scotland later this week according to Countryfile 333
General / Re: Motorway Limit to 90« on: 03 October 2011, 01:10:54 pm »
Is it still 10%+2 (ish) above the speed limit for the road as discretion for tyre wear and calibration of speedo's? I know if you run a satnav next to your bike or car speedo you will be sadly dissapointed!
I agree- with higher speed there is a need for higher skills all round but how would you enforce extra training? another plate for the main driver bnut he/she may not be driving at the time......... I like the French idea about slower in the wet but then the barrack room lawyers would want a definition of 'wet'- is that full raining or just drizzle or passing through wet roads when the shower has passed? If lorries stay at their slower 60mph- will that apply to caravans too? or maybe ban them from the road alltogether except in the silent hours through the night- now there's a thought! 334

General / Ride- Rider Power Fazers« on: 25 September 2011, 07:02:29 pm »
OK so obviously the litre Fazers got better marks that the 600- I say obviously but more people seem to own them than 600's and it has more useable power but in the survey.........
Owners 30% FZS6 17% FZ6S 37% FZS1000 16% FZ1 97% male/3% female owners Average 9124 miles per year But the thing that interested me (as an FZ6S2 owner and having all the -hopefully good nautured ribbing from those with box eyes) was that we scored the FZ6S slightly higher than the FZS6 I suppose the boxeyes will say that their bikes are older and so more troublesome but isnt that the point? Time to change up! Anyway- 52% of Fazer owners said the Fazer is the best bike they have ever owned so I guess it doesnt matter which one you have as long as you are happy with it. Mine did 120 miles half in torrential downpour and half in sunshine today- didnt miss a beat and I still ended the ride with a slightly bedraggled and soggy smile- just need to clean and dry the kit and then the bike before another run out on Friday with friends 337
FZ6 / Fazer / Re: Model numbers« on: 22 September 2011, 10:52:42 pm »

FZ6 / Fazer / Re: Model numbers« on: 20 September 2011, 06:17:09 pm »
I dont know I think the S2 2009 was always 98 bhp or something like that but the 2008 had the option of the 77bhp which I think ended up in the FJ6 Diversion
I dont have ABS 339
FZ6 / Fazer / Re: Model numbers« on: 16 September 2011, 12:41:42 pm »
Is there a list of serial numbers for the FZ6 anywhere?
I have a 2009 but just niggling doubt that it is the 2008 bike although it has many of the 2009 bits and pieces Cheers 340

The village of Assos on Kephalonia was devastated by an earthquake in 1953.
This and other houses have been left derelict since then and are for sale if anyone wishes to start from scratch basically |
