St Patrick was a Welsh captive forcibly taken to Ireland and definitely not Irish - no wonder the irish need to get pissed on St Patricks Day! ;-)

Most celibrated Saint around the world is our Pat. I have never seen a St Davids , St George or St Andrews day parade anywhere?????

there are lots of st davids  parades around here, much celebrated, but again you wouldn't know, not being from here, :)
