In memoriam  :'(

I would be interested. But no idea what I’ll be doing due to the Covid 19 cluster fuck that is currently ongoing.

July would probably be easier for me

Both ‘Ring and NC500 sound good.

Nitron rear shock and k tech fork valves. Gets spendy but gives the bike loads more control.
You could also get jack up plates for the rear rather than dropping the forks through yokes. Gives you the same geometry but adds a little ground clearance.

190/55 fits on fine and you’ve already adjusted gearing to compensate.

Just loosen rad on mounts. I changed coolant at same time so you can remove a radiator hose to make access easier.  Space Is tight but manageable with some swearing.

I’ve an FZ1 N I’m thinking of selling.  Low mileage and a load of upgrades, would be in your price bracket but is the naked version.  Happy to send more details and photos if you want.

« on: 09 May 2017, 08:18:33 pm »
I put one on my fz1 and love it.  The larger tyre does act to raise the gearing slightly, same as reducing rear sprocket by approx 1 tooth.  You may not notice, but if you do then just add a larger sprocket to the rear with an extra tooth.

It does help turn in and will give more contact patch when leant over.

Yep, it is upside down.
Will probably make no difference to the working of the shock, but would think getting to the adjusters would be more difficult.

Some dosh sent over Moff, just split between me and Richy.

Reminds me of Jonny 5 from Short Circuit.  I like the luminous yellow wheels.
It's more about how it rides.

I've always like Forcefield.  I wear a separate one under my textiles.  Recent leather jacket was Dainese so got their own that fitted the insert, more of a plastic armour type.  Works ok, but for fields are thinner.

If he actually bought the ticket and still has it then just ignore it.  Even if it goes to small claims you can still show the ticket.

The depreciation is the killer.  My dad had one so I inherited it.  We have kept it on as my young kids love going there, but once it comes to getting a new one then then we will not bother.  Better putting money into a holiday home to rent out, then you have a better asset.

I had one on my GSXR years ago and it just plugs in, so why the plugs have been cut i don't know.
