Bought myself a drift camera in oct 2013 but not been able to work out how the thing works  .......iam possibly the biggest pc numpty on here, no kidding iam worse tham bad  .......so, thought I would start the year with positive thoughts and dug the camera out in an attempt to sort it out........when I first got the camera I made a mount and recorded a short run on it no problems, view the footage on the pc via media player....but thats all I could do.....ive since bought a galaxy tab 2 so put the micro sd in and nothing, asked google and then downloaded something called "ESfile explorer"..... so........click........... es file explorer Ext sd card Dcim 100 drift File 010.mov Select es media player and I get a message......sorry cannot play this video..... so....what am I doing wrong ?????? great chance for all you foccers to take the pi** in the usual manner...I look forward to it

as i get older the excitment of christmas is getting less and less...grand old age of 52 now,great for the kids and its good to see their faces light up on the rare occasion when you give them that perfect present...i have 3 of the little monsters the youngest is nearly 15...we gave him a ps4 this year,didnt see him from mid day onwards.in his room tapping away in a world of his own  ....two grand kids of 2 and 4 who are great fun and its good to spoil them at this time of year,they live 50 miles away so we only spent a day with them this year........bad case of grumpy old man i guess everyone tells me they dont know what to get me for christmas,including mrs red,although after 20 years of marrage she has come up with some cracking presents  ......anyway,today iam off down the charity shop with a load of dvd`s , cd`s , books and the like that i have recieved over the last 1/2 years so i can make room for this years,most of which have never been read/watched...............am i the only one who does this ? yes you`ve guess it...iam in "grumpy old man" mode today,going to moan about everything and anything , mostly on here as too cold to go out on the bike or mess about in the garage so stuck infront of a screen,not the tv screen as ive watched most of what their showing over the last few years,the only exception was barry sheen thingy last night,nothing to moan about there [size=78%].......if your younger than me,show some respect to your elders and keep your thoughts to yourself,your to blame for a lot of the things iam grumpy about........[/size][/size][/size][size=78%]so....a thread to let off steam about anything you dont like about christmas and the waste of time between christmas and new year when its to foccin cold to get out on your fazers [/size]  [/size][size=78%] .....moan over.......for now..................[/size]

This thread is aimed at all you fair weather riders, I've always got something to do in the summer, riding the mighty fazer is at the top of my to do list followed by kayaking on the thames, mountain biking and playing around with my old Japanese classic motorbikes.....all fair weather activities, iam at a loose end when the cold weathers here..so...what do other foccers do when the winter months are with us ?

well,i had good intention to tidy up my thou over the winter months,half way through and so far ive done nothing .....i have the silver engine model and the paints peeling real bad,this was one of the jobs on my list,ive been collecting a few parts over the summer in readyness to fit this winter they include............. new renthal bars....silver for extra power r6 shock and polished dog bones,modified and ready to fit ivans slip on kit clutch cable clutch plates service items,oil + filter etc need to spend some time in the garage,dont want to loose any riding time come the spring anyone else having a winter tidy up ?

half way through foccers,today is the shortest day of the year,from now on the days get longer and brighter and soon we will be racing towards spring and back on our bikes enjoying long days in the saddle.....bring it on

all this talk of "250`s on L-plates" has got me reminiscing about the good old days and the bikes i`ve owned.not sure if this subject has come up before or not,but what was the first one ?.....the X7 i mentioned in the "L-plates" post was my second bike bought new in 1980....my first....A HONDA XL 100 S ...single cylinder off road style in white,not sure what the "s" was for  ...had it for about a year,had to helicoil the thread in the head that takes the spark plug as one day the plug made a break for freedom  never did find it... so,what was your first bike ? Muppet, forgot to put the year ....bike was on a "t" plate which makes it a 78/79 ....

One for the old foccers.......how many of us had 250's on L plates,70's early 80's.....I think the law changed in 82, then it was a puny 125cc, cant think why ....me,a suzuki GT250 X7, brand new in 1981....the first production 250 to crack 100 mph

i swap and change between std and scorpion end cans..the std is good for me.quiet and smooth on long runs,bit like me really ,the scorpion is only just louder with a small rasp which i like,with baffle out its bad boy time,very loud ,too loud for me ...so was thinking of trimming the baffle down to get a happy medium ....anyone done this before ?

had a few days off this week so decided to go to the weston-super-mare bike night on thursday,last one of the season so worth the effort.i live in high wycombe , jct4 M40 approx 30 miles west of london,the easiest route is straight down the M4 / M5......but ive got all day so not doing that ......A40 is 1 mile from home so off i go high wycombe,oxford,whitney,cheltenham,gloucester,monmouth and into the brecon beacons ,onto abbergavenny and breakie at the oasis cafe,back on the A40 i head to crickowell and onto llansantffread ,a left turn takes me to talybont-on-usk over the river usk,right turn onto the A4558,a quick left down to talybont reservoir and a stop for some piccies,a few miles down the road and another reservoir,pentwyn reservoir,more picies,up over the mountain and down the other side to the brecon mountain railway,was hoping to take a ride but missed the train by five minutes .....nice tea and cake in the cafe though ,i`ll do the train ride another day,good excuse to get back out on the fazer times getting on now and ive arranged to meet markwales and greg at the magor services at 5....i head towards cardiff via merthyr,ystrad mynarck,bedwas and a short stop at caerphilly to visit the castle and of course more piccies,quick stop at the millennium stadium then onto newport,mark and greg arrive bang on time,a quick chat and fuel and we`re off to weston.....M40 over the bridge,M49,M5 and onto weston for 6.00pm....meet with boris,esetest and fazer 390 a good turnout of foccers for a mid week meet....a good chat and coffee at a good event ,will be back next year  [size=78%] [/size][/size][size=78%] its dark now so the ride home was a bit boring M5,M40 to swindon A420 to oxford and back onto the A40 and home,335 miles in total,a good day [/size] [/size][size=78%] [/size]

ok lofo`s lets get this show back on the road..........next sunday the 14 sept is the brighton burn up from the ace cafe,great event when the weathers fine,but..........iam not too keen on the route ....A40,M40,M25,M23,A23....so how about we start our own brighton burn up using a different route.....meeting at the old favourite of the shitty cafe on the green of blackheef or parhaps box hill for brekkie.......so.what do you think ??????

ive sold my spare 600 to a guy in cleethorpes and have agreed to deliver for him...iam in high wycombe , south bucks , jct 4 M40 , a long shot i know but does anyone want a bike bringing back down south so i can ease the cost for my buyer.....will be going within the next two weekends,but most likley this saturday...

Having a bit of a senior moment here .......iam trying to replace the fork seals on my project fazer as failed mot....stripped down with no problems........so, the rebuild.place damper rod with spring into fork tube, making sure its in the guide at bottom, place fork tube into fork lower and insert bolt into bottom of fork lower and screw into damper rod....no problem, but.......and this will sound silly to those that know .....the fork is now locked, no up/down movement....I can see why but dont know what iam doing wrong.......help please iam pulling whats left of my hair out...

got a rattle on my 54 thou,had the 7000 fault recently and found the cables to be a tad too tight,slackened off and now have the rattle,bang on 4000rpm,nowhere else......iam thinking of disconnecting and removing it to confirm it is the valve,but will it run ok without it.....anyone tried this ?
