Ok 3 weeks ago I started noting near misses on my daily commute to and from work, week 1: 5 near misses, week 2: 3 near misses, week 3: 4 near misses, all this in a 10 mile round trip, are other road users really oblivious to bikers or is a case of ''its ok he'll feel it more than me'' junctions are the worst, with drivers pulling out from behind other traffic when your beside them a close second, then all you get is ''sorry I didn't see you'' I wear hi-viz with lights blaring, I couldn't be more visable if I was lit up like a xmas tree. anyone else noting near misses, it would be nice to know that Hull is'nt the only place that breeds idiot drivers.

Insurance is just a rip off anyway, I got hit with a drunk driver while driving my car, she was caught, charged ,convicted, fined and banned for 2 years, open and close case you might say, NOT her insurance refused to pay out I never got any reason and my own insurance company were as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike all I got from them was ''pay your excess get your car sorted and we'll take her to small claims court'' I said yeah IF I get it back it'll take 3-4 years, bullshite
so now I buy the cheapest no frills no extras insurance I can get 11

learnt my lesson on not cancelling before the renewal date, mines was automaticly renewed, when I called to tell them I didn't want it renewed they said id have to pay a cancelation fee for the new policy as I hadn't said I wasn't renewing before the previous policy ran out, 40 bucks that cost me, the reason they automaticly renew it is so you wont run illegally if you forget to renew. just a con really

hi im jim new to your forum I run what I consider to be one of the best 600s on the road Ive owned the bike for 3 years before this I had a Honda hornet then a thunderace 1000 which I have to say scared the life out of me a few times so I got rid of it but I prefer the fazer 600 ive never had any problems with the bike nippy enough to get you out of trouble and handles like a dream, really happy with it
