Starter switch and intermittent exup fault
« on: 06 April 2019, 03:01:49 pm »
occasionally my start button does nothing. I whack the right control block a few times and it works, although the Whacking doesn’t seem to actually do anything and it works when it wants too ...

Also I’ve had the 7k exup Rev fault display earlier at same time as starter was being funky. But I’ve rebuiilt the exup and set it up correctly, cables aren’t too tight etc and bike goes like fk and pulls away from my mates srad that did 130bhp on dyno ...

Change the Solonoid or take it apart and clean the large contacts.Exup issue might be a dodgy servo, had the same thing on my own a few years ago and recently on another FZS1000
