Gen 2 ABS Brakepad change
« on: 05 May 2013, 10:37:38 pm »
Never changed the front brake pads on an ABS bike (or car) before (2008 Fazer 1000)

Is there anything special I need to know or is it just as easy as non ABS?
The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible

I removed the front disc pads on my 08 ABS FZ1 last week...
There a piece of cake to remove and refit..

Just pull out two small clips and then pull out the round bar the small clips went through  and then the pads can just be pulled out.. ;)

Changing the pads is easy, its bleeding the brakes that can be a problem on ABS Bikes and Cars.
