No I haven't done the flies, as to how best to remove them a little bit of heat and a perfectly fitting screwdriver is the way to go.
One of the things I have done to my FZ1 some people will find strange :), will list my  mods after I get map and power figures.

Well, once my boy goes home, I'll need to strip the forks off again and take them back to the shop to fix them as they didn't foccin do it properly in the first place :groan!

the left one, which was leaking before I took it to them, is leaking worse than it went in :grumble

Have fitted new foot pegs, lowered them by about 27mm so tomorrow is test day. That is as long as the weather is not boiling again 42 degrees here today. So maybe a short run.

You mean pad pins?
They shouldn't need an impact driver at all, in fact i would avoid using one, steel pins in soft metal should come out easily by hand with an allen key.

Planning on balancing the carbs on the thou and possibly replacing the fuel filter (if I can find the one that I think I have somewhere :\). It's jumping / surging a little at low revs in the mornings when I'm riding to work

Might even get round to cleaning it up a bit before I get nagged on Sunday :P
