FAO Nitron Shock Owners
« on: 07 November 2015, 04:46:40 pm »
Thought I'd pass on that I called Nitron today to ask how much it would cost to service my rear shock, they said that until the end of the year they are offering a full rear shock rebuild at the same price as a short rebuild so for my 'Track' shock it will cost £95 instead of £125 (prices exclude VAT). The prices on the website don't reflect this offer so you may want to confirm this with Nitron first, they guy I spoke with was called Alex. My shock is on it's way to them .........

Went out for my first ride on my freshly serviced shock yesterday, I was pretty amazed by the difference in ride quality and handling, I guess you don't notice the degradation in performance as it happens so slowly over time. I only thought about getting the shock serviced as I felt my recently serviced and resprung forks were outperforming the shock which is ~4 years old. Well worth doing if you have a shock that's a few years old or has seen some big miles (Nitron recommend servicing at 12-18,000m).
