Why is it those little toe rags using scooters and hammers to rob people of phones, bags etc and bikes never get knocked off just riders going about  there daily lives seems natural justice is failing us at the moment.

Started to digging the footings out for the wife's new conservatory which is what it cost me to get the FZ1. The foocing ends I will go too, to get another bike. Long soak in a Radox bath is called for.

Just got an fz1 gen 2 did do a fair amount of research before I parted with any cash, I did not find anything about the generators having a problem. I would also be interested in answer from members on this forum. Not being a member or knowing this forum even existed at that time I did not research on here. I am a member of a couple more owners forums as I have 3 bikes both the other forums the members are keen to help and always points you in the right direction without the bad attitude.

I don't agree with most of what you say VNA but your spot on Mays days are very much numbered the night of the long knives is not far away.
Wasn't going to comment any more but I will say this the result was a total disaster for the country at this moment in our history we needed a government with a strong working majority whether that was labour or conservative now all we have is 650 gob s**ts that will spend who knows how many months until the next election scoring points of each other rather than governing this country and getting the best deal for us all on brexit.

Fitted the new fairing to my gen 2 foccing pig of a job could strip and refit the fairing on my old GSXR in a third of the time,  It's not the best thought out bike for maintenance, but to give it it's do easy to do an oil change you don't even burn the back of your hand on the down pipes removing the old oil filter.

You forgot there was no fancy electronics either to help the rider. Would love to see the present GP, world superbike stars go head to head on the old 2 strokes 500s would sort the men from the boys bet there would be a few surprise results. I started riding on 2 strokes still cover the clutch to this day. So who do we think would be up to taming the beasts?

Just collected new fairing r/hand infill panel and r/hand radiator trim. to put right the damage the previous owner did at the TT 2 years ago still having palpitations of the wallet all £367 of them. knew I had to spend about that when I bought it so shouldn't moan. Impressed with the service though fairing had to come from japan only took 10 days from order to collection.

Politician of all parties run off at the mouth when ever terrorist acts take place, but don't have the will or bottle to take the steps to counteract terrorists acts as it might be seen as racist or against there human rights.

It's not about the candidates in my area it's about the whole sorry lot of them. If  there was a monster raving looney party candidate I'd vote for them at least they are honest enough to admit the are complete fruit loops, as for the rest of them they couldn't lie straight in bed.

For the first time in 40 odd years I'm not voting for any of them was going to spoil my ballot paper but they are not worth even that effort . None of them have any interest in carrying out the will of the British people for the benefit of the British people whatever their politics, but serving their own ends and those of  their friend colleges and backers, we just pay their bills.

VNA with your ramblings  you are typical of the reason I will never vote labour, I would sooner vote for the devil himself than support a party with people like you supporting them.

VNA.  Just buy Corbyns lies my actual opinion of ALL politicians is you know they are feeding us bulls**t and lies because they are talking. As a pensioner Corbyns policies would leave me better off,  but it's the younger working people that will pay for it in a few years time. There's an old saying you don't get ought for nought.

I remember the 1970s and the last of the Corbyn type labour politicians in power, mortgage rate around 11/12%, no coal, power cuts, 3 day working week so short wages, rubbish piling up in the streets, and the country was run by militant union leaders not the government. They tried the same policies then and they didn't work borrowed billions just to keep our country afloat. Don't fall for the same s**t they peddled then else your kids and grand kids will pay for it like I and my kids did.

Introduction / Hello
« on: 31 May 2017, 07:30:10 am »
Hello I've been riding since I was 16 first bike CB72 250 Honda past my test on it at 16 never been without a bike since.  I do drive a 4x4 as well and call it a bikers revenge leave the rest to your imagination. My passion is bikes  I have owned from xjr1300's, 1200 Bandits, to GSXR750, FZR  1000s ZZR1100s,  various trail bikes to CCM supa motos , but prefer sports bikes. Finally got round to the  2008 FZ1S as a good compromise between a sports bike and the comfort of a naked bike, to many trips down the road minus the bike and fridge/pub mean the old knees don't bend like they used to and there ain't room for my guts and petrol tank any more on a sports bike . Really impressed with the FZ1.
