I thought my 14 year old Fazer was tidy but it's nothing compared to most of these! I'll get a pic up once I've made it sparkle a bit more

Haha! It's looking the worse for wear after a week commuting in the rain now,
But there is something deeply medicinal comes from spending 3 hours cleaning a bike ;-)

Quite happy doing it, just not happy doing it weekly!

Can't wait till the better weather, at least I'll get a month out of a good clean then :-)

Seriously considering slowly dismantling it bit by bit each day off I get then deep cleaning the components before refitting with stainless fixings, serious dough involved in posh bolts though :-/

I've personally come to the conclusion that mine's never going to be that clean again, despite not using it much during the winter. But if I can keep it at a level where it looks good before close inspection, and corrosion is kept at bay, I guess I'm happy enough with that. Wouldn't want to have to remove the header pipes right now though!  :lol

Yeah, I've got to make a serious commitment to keep it really clean, but I don't want it to turn into a sunny weekend queen, it's a daily rider and like you if I can just stay on top of it I'll be really happy.
Chrome or stainless headers would be a bonus though!

Bah! And just noticed that the two hose clips on the small diameter hose from the bottom of the radiator aren't level with each other, will have to sort that ;-)

I bit the bullet and bought this one today.
Collect it Saturday, so my maiden voyage will be from derby to Kent!

I got my givi rack and plate from eBay Italy, think it was around £90 all in, took 3 or 4 days to arrive

Sweet  8) But maybe lose the blue levers in favour of silver or black  :) Personal opinion obviously  ;)
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

Have you not considered zinc plating the nuts you have.  I seem to remember reading in classic m/c mech's  there are kits available for Diy.

You know you should never use someone else's medication ;-)

Hey Carlos that is one nice looking bike.

Nice work on the side fairings, they dont always look quite right.seem to be well blended in.

The only shame is that you've got slow Blue colour. :b
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Very tidy! I'm guessing the mesh and Yamaha logo aren't standard on those fairings?

Also - do I spot a Scottoiler at the back there?

I'm pretty new to bikes. I passed my test on a fazer so as soon as I seen this little beauty I had to have it. The fairing is made by Pyramid I'm led to believe. Yes that is a scottoiler you spy. I have been checking up on this website since I got the bike and you guys seem like a good bunch so signed up to be a part of it. I couldn't comment on whether blue is the slowest colour although my 125 was blue and and slow :D
