FZS600 Fazer / Two Questions...
« on: 09 December 2019, 07:03:59 pm »
I've had a look all over and can't find the torque value for the two bolts holding the cowl/headlight stay to the head tube, does anyone know?
And, does anyone know where I can get the Fazer decals for each side of the nose cowl - 5DM-28390-00 ? I've looked everywhere and have them ordered twice so far and then refunded, when the supplier can't actually get them. I've a brand new fairing to fit but no decals.

FZS600 Fazer / Model changes
« on: 28 October 2019, 07:16:17 pm »
Does anyone know if there were slight model changes between the years 1998 and 2001? I'm after getting a used replacement cowl stay and the mounting for holding the clocks is at a much steeper angle than the original - so much so that the clocks foul the ignition switch and can't be fitted. It's a used part so could have obviously been bent but it doesn't appear to be the case.

Introduction / Back again...
« on: 16 October 2019, 10:42:38 pm »
Howdy all, I'm back in the land of FZS600 again after a break of a few years, glad to see you're all still here! I'm after getting myself a spotless 2001 red cocktail that looks like it's never seen rain. It had some front end damage and was missing a battery but once I stuck one of these into it fired up a purred like a baby. I'm after getting a headlight and am still trying to source a cowl stay, and have a brand new cowl coming in a week or two. looking forward to getting back on what is a great bike. My last one turned into a rat and I eventually sold it off although the motor was still strong as ever! Looking forward to getting back on one of these again...

I'm hoping to find an undamaged Red/White/Black fazer 600 fairing that looks something like the one on the photo attached.
