Well, had the first run of the year and my god it was good fun. The Zetland Motorcycle club did an easter egg run to some of the care homes on the island, visited 3 in total this year and a great day out with around 25 to 30 bikes turning up.

Over the winter I've:

fitted Armstrong wavy front discs,
Hel braided brake lines on the front (already fitted on to the rear a couple of years ago),
New seals in front calipers and pistons polished up,
front forks repainted in panther black so has a nice flake in it,
renthal bars fitted,
carbon hydro dipped side panels by devilsyam, not very obvious in picture but will get better ones sometime,
blue rim tape added to front and rear wheels,
and all the general winter cleaning.

All the best,

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

As far as I've ever been able to find out it was the OEM factory fitted option yes although it's hard to tell as it has no markings or identification on it. I'm just going from pictures of other peoples bikes and what they said. It was on the bike when I got it and never see ones like it for sale anywhere.

Chris...forget about how slow your bike is.....it doesnt matter mate.....you're only goin round and round the islnd like a Haggis anyway.

But aesthetically your bike is looking well sweet...it always was a looker......i like how you havent gone with a blue rear hugger as that would be OTT.....if you won the lottery then id say have it like the front mudguard ie blue fading to black where the fender extender is...that theme would be nice on the rear hugger.

But anyway it looks good...one o the nicest 600's going imo........doddsies was another one......"Was"....sorry doddsie..... :(
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Cheers Noggers  :D

I'll take that as the compliment I know it was meant as. haha. Think the next thing is to paint the rear swingarm gloss black to match the rest of the frame but not doing anything else this year apart from riding it and keeping it clean  8)

Yeah, gutted for you doddsie. Hope you're back on a bike soon if not already.

Took part in the Scunny Bikers Egg run, about 150 bikes and trikes and about 1,000 eggs on a tour round the town and the supermarkets (to collect more eggs!) before heading up to the local hospital to deliver them to the children's ward. Eldest daughter came with me and was a bit unnerved the first couple of times were marshalled through red lights  :lol

Imax, where's your Fazer with its trailer?

What you need is a genu-ine Fazer 600 towbar!

1 careful owner!

Custom made!

Bolt on / bolt off!

Yours for a mere £250, and that's cutting my own hand off!  :lol :lol

Bit foggy for the first 50 miles then great for the rest of the day.

Heysham start - Coastal road via Whitehaven ect then onto Heartside - Alston - Barnard Castle - Richmond - Leyburn - Hawes - Kettlewell - Grassington - Settle - Caton - Lancaster.
