If the ODO isn't working and the lugs are fine, look for a chaffed wire between the hub and the head unit.

Not the Whoresham based one?
The Cardiff muppets just tried to write my Mrs car off for a smashed bumper and bent bonnet. £4800 to repair apparently!!! Error of their ways pointed out and car now being fixed. Those approved repairers take the piss with what they think they can get away with. Parts that aren't damaged added to bill. Parts listed at twice the price I can get them for without any trade discount etc etc. 3890

The only way out for you is to say they did not have permission to drive the car and they then get done for TWOC as well. My father in law had to make this choice when my brother in law borrowed his car one day and had a shunt. 3891

I can concur. The CBF1000 is a great bike. Slightly bigger than the FZS600 and lots more torque. Great bike to ride and contrary to what some people say, the build quality is OK. Not the greatest of Honda quality, but better than Yamaha can be.

sad git, the law says they are needed. The fact there is no fine for not having them does not make not having them legal.
In my car I have some for trips over the water, well over a year old but I'm not buying any more till they start fining people. In the van and on the bike, I don't bother carrying them at the moment. 3897

They aren't insured.
Unless their US insurance company will cover them, and you will need it in writing, then you will need to add them to your policy as named drivers. |
