the avon 3dxms stayed on for 56 miles lol. They are a good touring/ summer tyre, or perhaps a good winter one too if you ride hard..I don't this time of year. Which means they just don't get enough heat in them for me. so ive put bridgestones back on the cb, and if anybody wants the avons with genuinely less than 100 miles on them, seventy quid collected gets them. If ive still got them come april, i'll stick them on the fazer for me and dynspuds run to france, I'm guessing they would be perfect for that..
I’ll have them off you please. I’ll send a pm

Just got back from the Isle of Man. It was raining slightly when they made the mountain one-way which meant less traffic up there. The Metzeler Roadtec 01s were really superb - I had enough confidence to push on almost like it was dry. In fact it was the wind that made me shit my pants - just after Windy Corner there's some sweeping left-handers and I drifted out to the right to get a good line round there and the wind caught me and pushed me toward some unplanned off-roading...

On the 450 mile trip back form Liverpool it was torrential, really, really bad. But again, the Roadtecs were great. Yeah, nothing bad to say about them.

Just off to get a new front Metz Road Tech 01, £128 fitted to a loose wheel. Need it in a hurry so can't shop about.

I'm on my second set of Metzler Sportec M7RRs on the 1000, great all rounder, was pleasantly surprised by the wear levels of the first set
