It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Are you no closer Chris to getting yours done or is the house you sent off holding you back?

Not got mine on yet. need to move the bike before I can do them. Hopefully this weekend and then will get mine on and the last bits sent off to SFS. The guy isn't at SFS till the end of next week so will get them to him by then.  ;)

I think the blue on blue will look mint (can't wait for the pics). I is considering a black belly pan to set of the red but I will be loosing sight of at least one hose. Will not happen until next month though.

Ye, I've got a belly pan so it will cover most of the two lower left hand side ones but think it'll still look awesome!  8)

I'll try and get some photos up for you when it stops snowing Chris ;)

Need to get the bike fully re-assembled as well - should be getting some coolant tomorrow as I'll be hitching a lift to Halfords from a friend haha. Could have gone myself, but I was lazy and the car is expensive to run :P

Nice one Deadeye!

For all of your information, I removed the top oil cooler pipe, filler to carbs and expansion tank overflow pipe today and will send them off to SFS this week. It'll be next week before anything else happens but I'll keep you posted when I hear anything.

All the best Chris

Blue looks well but the red and gold has to be the winningest colour combo so far ;)

Has to be the quote of the thread! Ha cheers mate,

I was tempted by the blue, but works well with the blue and stands out with the silver,

Wen't for a spin down the mumbles yesterday and got back an the hoses were stinking! Lol going to be fun keeping them clean!

@dBfazer600 - Indeed, red NGK plug caps are on there at the moment (from when I bought it) - they stand out a little, might find some nice blue paint :P

@HisDudeness - I definitely agree with that statement!

Cheers Chris,

I ment to ask is anyone else hose down on the left abit tight to the engine case? The one with the protective cover? Just thinking after some time of rubbing it might wear through?

Shouldn't be moving so shouldn't wear through... I would have thought...

Not so much about the movement I guess just general vibration, I'm sure its fine as the standard pipe was touching on mine but did have signs of wear but then again what rubber wouldn't after 13 years of use!

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Sent you a PM.

@ Cai, The silicone is much more resistant to wear than the original rubber. My original pipe has some wear where the metal cover is over it but I think that's from the corosion on the metal cover biting into it rather than anything else and it is more just a little indent opposed to tearing into the pipe. It should be ok. Let me know of any problems.
