upon taking my tank up to get resrayed i tried to drain the fuel out about a gallon, however switching the tap to on fuel ran freely for about a minute then stopped switching between off and on and fuel would flow for a while and stop again.it would flow for various amounts off time before stopping.now my fazer has had an intermitant missfire for a while now so im thinking me taps fooked wemoto do a tap repair kit for £14 or a complete new one from yamaha is £25 think im gonna splash out for a new one.no crap in filter but gonna check inside tank when i take old tap off. just another thing for red to check

oks, the rack is from a 99 fazer,it will fit all fazers with a metal grabrail, not sure about later ones as renntec list two racks for the fazer.im fitting a later coloured matched plastic grabrail to mine and have found that its not a simple swap.the sidepanels are different.

a common overlooked item, the calipers themselves build up crud and crystals BEHIND the seals in the grooves thus pushing the seals tighter round the piston, scrape the grooves clean.

or use an old visor, and two small angled brackets.that way you can adjust the flip angle to suit you and remove it when not needed.

great job mate, dont want to sound picky but your rear brake hose is on wrong!! the guides should route it on the inside of the swingarm NOT the outside, dunno if thats an mot failure or not but it could snag or chaff on the can.
