Clean air straight to the head is as quiet as it is going to get, if you use a taller screen then it must lift the air over your helmet or it will be noisy.
I had a touring screen and at speed it created a vacuum behind sucking out my ear plugs,and then the noise from the pipe and engine seem to bounce off it back to the head.
I used to ride up to hmmm,hmm 125 on my Virago 1100 naked, lol well i had pants on,, wind blast not a problem.

Good question,,we are taking a similar route on May29th, enroute to Mugello Motogp.
We will be stopping in Switzerland one night.
I have travelled the area 3 times in years gone by, I can only remember those beautiful blue green lakes in Austria though.
It was a great trip down the route of the river through Germany up to Switzerland, the Rhine.

I have two daughters,21 and 26 , had their strops along the way but thank god they are girls,,they don't hang around with me,lol
so I can get on with what I want.
The lad I employ tho, well theres one, 27 years old and was fucking useless,,,that is clearly down to MUMS, yes MUMS,
nowadays they don't take keep from the little twats, spoil them ;]taxi them,give them money,
I know as few dads who are so pissed of with mum ,,they cannot get involved tho,more than their life is worth.
