What is the reason for stripping instead of selling?

The market seems so slow on the litre bikes at the moment i have plenty of time on my hands and have just picked up another 55 plate model so i thought i might break the bike draw the money i need back out of it an have the rest of the spares for myself no hurry for the money an it will give me an even better knowledge of my bike taking apart nut by bolt, as this is my fifth thou i can't really see not owning one .
I had it up forsale a couple of  month ago an no one was even ringing at fifteen mot'd an taxed for nine month my mate has got a cashflow problem an couldnt sell his for love nor money he took it to a dealers an they offered him 15 for it an a 55 plate with 15k on it half the mileage an newer than mine i would have a been a fool to let it pass me by hence why this is now surplusits engine or anything can be tested as it is all still in one piece till after the new year  there is a pick of the new one in the show us your fazer thread .

Do you have the bits for the standard rear numberplate and indicator mounting bit? Mine has had a tail tidy job done to it and I want to put it back to standard.
thanks

ahh ok, would it be possible to take a picture of it so I can see what its like? The job done on mine looks a little untidy so I wanted to improve it.

thanks,
