Got it all sorted!
A lot easier than first thought! The bit that appears to slide off is screwed in place, so if I was to leave them out, then it would do what I thought it would, however, no idea how secure that would be, so have left as is. I don't know what I was worrying about! 3

Ok, I'll give that a go...this is all new to me. My expertise is IT, not mechanical stuff! It just kinda looked that this part would slide out, but it doesn't budge...will let you know how it goes! 5

I need to get to the wiring at the rear of my bike, but my fat fingers and hands have only such a limit!
I noticed the top of the fairing, there is a kind of cut out that looks like it would slide out giving me more access, but buggered If I know how to remove it!? Any ideas people? I did unscrew two screws from underneath that were at an angle, but nothing...I don't want to risk snapping it or anything... Sorry for the big pictures! Can anyone please help? 6

You did well there birdyboyuk, bike looks ace. I'm impressed you put a photo up on your first post, it takes some on here years to manage that. Haha...its not difficult I've plenty of experience when it comes to posting on forums! 7

So, after passing my test last Thursday (2nd time round!) I've picked up myself a Yamaha FSZ600 and very happy with it!
Have been on CBT for past 3 years, using a 2008 Honda CG125...anyway... 02 plate, 40k on the clock, FSH, no MOT, 2 new tyres, heated grips & a full tank of petrol...I paid £925 for it (Was selling for £1000) I'm very pleased with it! Whaddya all think of it?
