Is that statue of Rory Gallagher, where is it?

Just outside Dorrian's Pharmacy  ;)  :lol

If I ever get a chance to tour Ireland, I'll be doing the pilgrimage to that one.

Took a trip to Clonmel avoiding the Motorway and dual carrigeways to collect a set of standard handlebars for the 600, turned out they were from off a 1000. After some time bike chatting, I returned home again avoiding the Motorway and dual carrigeways and explored the high speed handling of the 1000s  :) Enjoyable 130 mile round trip :woot

I removed the tank protector, was too squint for my liking.
Also removed the 'yamaha' sign from the rear panel.
Then I fitted a led brake light.
Yes it was a bit wet to get out on the bike here in Glasgow :-(

Just as well you did not fit it under the tail light as it would have made it more difficult to see the number plate, but why you would want that is beyond me  :lol

I wouldn't be daft enough to put it under the original light, that would just be plain silly lol
Its there in much the same way as a third brake light in cars, purely for safety reasons, I think the more light to tell someone your stopping or slowing down is good, some people that follow you aren't necessarily paying attention so an extra light that only comes on when your braking is a good thing in my book.
Don't like anything up my rear end AT ALL :-P

I put the red wheel rim tape on to see how it looked and was quite surprised it went well with the black/silver.  :)

Fitted debrix emulators with some straight rate springs (apparently triumph Bonneville) and ebay preload adjuster caps. Cleaned the outers down,  will paint the lowers (gold) and clear coat them before putting it all on the bike with danmoto adjustable clip on.

Looked at it sadly sat in the garage as I just haven't been able to find some nice weather when I'm not already busy...

On the plus side, I now have a hose pipe and pressure washer so I can look after her more now ^.^
