I thought I would give enought time for people to see and hear the race results after last weekend but gotta say it......Rossi did it again!! Good man! Cal Crutchlow was so close to second it was unreall!!...Mark Markez (I think thats how his name is spelt) did a really good race too but no Yamaha racer!..

I hope this hasn't ruined it for anyone?

Is anyone going to the BMF at Kelso on the 5th 6th 7th July? I will be there with the Bandit Owners Club if anyone wants to come and say hello! 'I have been a member of them for the last 5 years and this year will be the second time I have made it to Kelso (that's as long as I make it)! I only managed 31 miles of a 1000 mile round trip last year before dropping my 1200 bandit on my right leg busting it badly so I am really looking forewards to it this year. My name is Richard Holland or Fatherbiker on the BOC . See you there guys!

That would be the last set of Michelins i'de have on the bike if that is how they go. I have had Dunlop Sportmax, Bridgestone Battleaxe (BT range) and never had any problems anything like that so i would be really peed off if they didnt help you with the cost of replacing them. I also wouldn't want to trust them any longer this year and definately change them. Its easier than having time off work for broken bones and a knackered bike!

Lucky Lucky Lucky!!...I did Spain and France in 2008 and absolutely loved it. That was a 1700 mile trip on a Bandit 600 but 2500 miles is even better. Allow plenty of time mate and have a fantastic honeymoon ride together!

Me sorry too!.... :'(  Though everyone could see it tho mate as it was on BBC 2!

I had a 955i Sprint ST and must admit it was a hell of a bike. She had 42000 miles on her but pulled like she only had a couple of thousand on her. I picked it up in Bristol and had crash damage as it fell over in a storm breaking the side and nose fairings. I paid a relatively small amount of money for her and  spent about another £200 ish doing her up. It rode brilliantly but the ride position was no good for my back so i ended up selling her on again. I would say it could have done with another exhaust to get it heard when riding in traffic. I did a 300 mile round trip to Bideford in north devon and back but although it was powerful and very fast, my back was a mess by the time i got home. By the way, black is the best colour!

Hi mate. I guess thats a CB 1300?.... I rode accross Spain and France in 2008 and found it absolutely fookin brilliant! 1700 miles total on a 600 Bandit in rain, hail, thunder storms but also some sun shine and dry weather. Look out on 'you tube' for motorbikes over the Milau bridge by Dr Love and its filming me from behind with 4 of the other guys with me. The guy filming was a good friend of mine called Mike Frain AKA Dr Love and he was riding an 03 plate Fazer 600 foxeye identical to the one I have now! I would say, wherever you ride abroad, dont do it alone.....If you get a problem, break down or puncture in the middle of nowhere you can be stuck for ridiculous amounts of time. If you come a cropper for any reason you need help with you even to (God forbid) get the emergency services organised. Make sure you have a puncture repair kit, spare light bulb kit, yellow jacket, lisence and insurance certificate, plus make sure you have travel insurance which is essential, Euro's in cash in case of getting stopped for speeding, (1500 euro fine for speeding in France apparently but thats only if the officer stopping you is a jobs worth and an arsehole at the same time)
There is a place I would love to ride.....Croatia! Fabulous roads, sights and often the weather too.
Sod it all.....Just enjoy it buddy, but do think of getting someone else to ride with you.

Welcome mate. Type in 'Givi racks' on the tinternet and there are quite a few sites available. I had some details of the Givi rack peeps but sorry to say have lost it. I do remember that the pair of side rails for the 6 was £57.00 plus the plate. About £90.00 all in I think?

The mirrors on my 03 plate 6 are fine. I'm about 12 stone and can see past both sides perfectly well. I am sure they are standard mirrors too!

Hi mate and welcome. I have just bought this year my first Yamaha fazer 600 after having Suzuki Bandit 1200's. Found this little fazer is almost as good as the 1200 Bandit and a bloody site less thirsty! Just need some nice weather to ride her now! I like the look of your 1000 Fazer so enjoy it friend!
