This goes against the grain as I can do plumbing, but have repaired stuff with ''metal putties'' and been surprised how good they are, so if your not getting in to soldiering i d go for this.

fazed600 that is the sort of thing i had in mind as well as new presenters, driving along when there is no reason for it. As a biker with the worry of meeting a SMIDSY it appears to me to be setting a bad example as if driving is so everyday it does not require your full attention.

Am I the only person who watches television presenters driving at the same time as presenting a television program as wrong.  They drive along with a camera mounted on the dash half an eye on the road and the other on the camera. It is not a good example.

I have just thought, they do not deal on there price it costs as stated. What they do do is send out £200 of vouchers to former customers I ve not got any at the moment but should some drop though my door I ll let you have them. It might be worth getting them to send you their catalogue it might well have some vouchers.

We brought our car from them and its been a good one had it some years now. It was formally owned by west mids ambulance service. I got the impression that they buy former  fleet lease vehicles. so they have a good history and not to old.

I've seen and heard a small pulsejet running and it's ear splitting, they get white hot in seconds, that thing must be lethal.....

......But fun. (briefly)

Downside is valved pulsejets are very unreliable as the reed valves work so fast under so much pressure.
Who's going to try and get an insurance quote then? :lol
Now that brings a song to mind.............................................................................''Go Compare''

At 8mins 34seconds the red roofed house was where I spent a lovely family holiday some years back.
Think it could be time to go back but on the bike, might get a souvenir video while touring round the area.

A man is stranded on a desert island, all alone for ten years.
One day, he spots a speck on the horizon.
He thinks to himself, "It's not a ship".
The speck gets a little closer and he thinks, "It's not a boat".
The speck gets even closer and he thinks, "It's not a raft".
Then, out of the surf emerges a gorgeous blonde woman, wearing a wetsuit and scuba gear.
She comes up to the guy and she says, "How long has it been since you've had a cigarette?"
"Ten years!" he says.
She reaches over, unzips a waterproof pocket on her left sleeve and pulls out a pack of fresh cigarettes.
He takes one, lights it, takes a long drag and says, "Man, oh man! That is good!"
Then she asks, "How long has it been since you've had a drink of whiskey?"
He replies, "Ten years!"
She reaches over, unzips her waterproof pocket on the right, pulls out a flask and gives it to him.
He takes a long swig and says, "Wow, that's fantastic!"
Then she starts unzipping this long zip that runs down the front of her wetsuit and she says to him, "And how long has it been since you've had some REAL fun?"
And the man replies, "My God! Don't tell me you've got a motorcycle in there!"

''I've now got the ones they make to measure by doing a mould of your earhole. These have wires in to connect to music or intercom. Problem is if the other user of the intercom has ordinary ear plugs as it's difficult to get the sound level to suit both. Today I listened to a podcast of woman's hour on radio 4

Anne''

Now I have found a time and place for ear plugs! time to turn Radio 4 off when woman's hour starts.

But as I headed home thinking about it things like what will he do when retirement comes? Had to give my self a good telling off when I thought about the answer, he wont need to retire he will tend his plot till his last day as happy a Larry.
