I can't see that being true.
I have a motorhome that's 23 years old. What are they going to do, tell me I have to have a 10000 pound vehicle scrapped and then replace it with a brand new 40000 pound alternative.
If there was a retrofit electric alternative I could see how they could subsidise and force that but not otherwise.
I do a round trip of 100 miles for work and an electric bike just doesn't have the range yet. If it did I'd already have one.
