Took this for an MOT and it passed.

Met up with some mates at the Potteries Egg Run

Got photographed by the local paper leaving the Egg Run car park.

Oh, and bought some new genuine Honda front discs for the CBF1000 so I can sell it with a clear conscience.

Excellent work Kosmic. Oils I think?

Makes my efforts at watercolours seem pretty crap. I haven't done anything in quite a while, but hoping to get back into it one day. Never tried oils, but I wonder if I might find it a little easier than watercolours, as those are one-shot things; get it too wrong and there's no recovering it, whereas with oils you can rescue mistakes? Not to take anything away from yours, that's pretty bloody good.

Can I make a suggestion though? What it needs is....................................black. Yes, black, lots of lovely black all over the place, splash it on, black, BLACK I TELL YOU!  :lol

Took Wug the Pug for a little bimble down the back lanes. Used to do this on the Fazer, much different in the car. It's not particularly fast, but it is challenging - I suppose green laning is similar for bikes? The roads are barely wider than the car, and often, the hedgerows mean you can't see much until it's on top of you. You end up driving between 2nd and 3rd gear a lot, often on the brake more than the throttle. The mud on the road means you have to be very ginger around corners, less because of speed, but because of making sure you can stop safely if someone appears in front and you need to stop sharpish (which I did have to do a few times. And on that surface, you only have to look at the brake for the wheels to lock up).

Course the clear straights mean you can then give it a little more welly. But still way under the national limit (which all these lanes are). Great fun, only lasted half an hour or so, but cleared out a few cobwebs.  :)

Nick. They're not oils it's acrylic paint on canvas. You can get them to look like oils or watercolours depending on how much water you use. I don't really use oils any more because I hate waiting for it to dry.

Oh right. I did dabble briefly with acrylics, but not long enough to start getting the hang of it really. I used a canvas effect paper designed for acrylics. Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.

I recently fitted a Rizoma brake fluid reservoir and an integrated rear light to my tuono v4
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

100000 mile service on the Mazda 6 today, plugs were surprisingly good (just a few deposits) considering they had 50,000 miles on them. :)

All gaiters intact and no play in any of the bushes.  :)
Going to have to change the rear disks&pads and all 4  shock absorbers, no leaks just that the damping is not what it was.  :eek

Nailed a couple of Led Zep tunes on the git-fiddle today:
'The Ocean'
'Over the Hills And Far Away'
'Trampled Underfoot'
Parts of 'Dazed And Confused' (no, I haven't invested in a violin bow!)
'In My Time of Dying' (slide in open G).

Well 'appy  :D

Changed the oil, spark plug and sharpened the blade on my lawnmower ready for the new season. ROCK AND ROLL!

Went out for a bimble on the pedal bikes with my wife and youngest son - 25 miles around Warks and Leics. lovely, relaxing, brain-resting, bimble.

Nice one.

We used to get so many mowers in our workshop that were shaking themselves to bits because Percy Thrower had tried to sharpen the blade while still attached to the mower and then not balanced it.

Speaking of oily old tat, just discovered that Wug the Pug has developed a small oil leak. I suspect it's just the sump seal, still - bugger!
