There are rumours in Italy that say Hayden pulled out the junction without looking before the car hit him.

from what I can gather he carried on at the junction only to be taken out by car car.
the driver of the car must have been going some speed the damaged it cause to the car.

« on: 15 May 2017, 07:58:20 pm »
thanks for the replies.
thats what I like about this forum good bunch of guys helping this ol git out.
nothing changed over the years.
when I had my FAZER 600(03) I was always looking for that 7th gear if you know what I mean
the engine was alway busy  putting a 1 tooth bigger on the from transformed my fazer.
a little less revs seem to smooth things out and n searching for that illusive gear.
not notice any difference in accelerating but what I did notice got better mpg.
bought the sprocket.
so hopefully this will iron my little niggles.
I'm not a fast rider, left all that behind and if anyone want to go fast I just let them get on with  it.
I wont even attempt to keep up. more often than not ...he didn't get very far.lol
beside I've got my good lady on the back and the last thing I want to do is frighten her.
its nice to come home saying to myself that was a good ride instead phew that f**ing close.....
once again thanks

General / RI SPROCKET?
« on: 14 May 2017, 07:56:29 pm »
I can't get a sprocket 1 tooth bigger (17 tooth) for my tracer 700 which is the same as the MT-07.
standard tooth is 16.
I can how ever get a R1 17 tooth sprocket which is the same except its slightly narrower .
the thicker part..... the MT-07 is 11.0mm ---R1  10.8mm
the MT-07  chain 525 R1  530
would this make any difference??
hopefully someone can help me on this, even if the above is not suitable maybe you'll know where I can get it.
in the usa I can get it but postage combine comes to £60 or more .
how can they justify £32 postage??.

General / Re: speeding new rules
« on: 24 April 2017, 09:48:44 am »
people will get frustrated by slow drivers will drive 25 mph in a 30 mph zone and we all know what will happen.
it'll be the same at other speeds people will drive at least 5 mph less than the speed limit.
most cars and bikes will be 2 mph less on speedo reading ..
according to these electronic road sign's read 28 mph but your clock reads 30 mph.
not sure of 40,50,60,or 70?
I'd rather have my clocks over read than under.
what is your thought on this..

what get my goat is these silly fuckers who over take you with in gnat whiskers  and I dont mean cars.
fooking bikers ,some think they've got bigger bike they can over take you so close.
I almost followed one bastid but if it wasn't for my wife ,I would've done.
by this time it was near my home so all speed limit was 30.

personally I wouldn't have anything attached to my helmet.
theres enough hard objects to hit if you come off without adding another.
handle bar or else where on the bike.
