Im in 2 minds...if i get bar end mirrors i want them to be bling...so like machined metal and looking......well just looking cool as foc  8) .....thing is though im looking for ones for renthal bars.

Might have a mooch on ebay...thing is they always look cool on there until they arrive & are piles of self destructing crap.

Went for my first decent ride of the year today , rode to Bibury via Castle combe and Cirencester , stopped off for a coffee and a slice of lemon cake , rode back via Tetbury , Didmarten , Codrington and ring road , Sun was shining , roads had lots of grip , bike felt great , I hope Mike's knee holds out over the weekend , looking forward to getting it vanished after reading all the positive comments .
Wheres "ring road"?
Took mine to Nottingham and back, into Herefordshire and Gloucestershire tomorrow. No Pics though - its red and my camera doesn't have a shutter speed that fast  :rollin :rollin :rollin

thxs piln look on your face "who the fuck is this"priceless

duncans (tex) bike before

top looking few issues ie brake lines to short lol but buck all done

i can defo confirm now that a gen 2 top yoke wont fit a 98/99 bottom even with a hammer

so for a gen2 top to work you need gen 2 0bottom ot 07/8 r1 bottom

Big thanks to ya luke,  got to recommend  luke to all, sorted the bike back and front with some chopping and changing , don't forget you set the brembo m/cylinder  up wires an all,    hope you didn't  hit traffic on the journey home, I'll post some more pics when I've  cleaned it and got a better mudguard
the night i was born, lord the moon stood a fire red., my poor mother her crying,
she said the gypsy was right, and she fell right dead

Another nick crisp Wales mini epic today  :D

M5/M6 to North Wales, first stop, Flint castle:

Then on to Rhuddlan castle:

Then down through Denbigh, Ruthin and on to Ponderosa at Horseshoe Pass (and this one's for Skippernick, just to show that my bike does still have a left-hand side  :rolleyes):

where the pick of the bunch was this beautiful Triton:

And then to Bala:

and some more of those fabulous Welsh mountain roads:

Build me a house here; I could sit and look at this view all day every day:

And stopped to annoy slimwilly and scrounge a cuppa (in fact, I went out of my way to do this  :lol ) before heading back via Hereford, Ross (after a wild chicken chase in Hereford which was fruitless - got lost  :\ ).

A long day. Set out at just before 8am, got home 10:30pm. 429 miles covered. Gotta do it while the good weather is here though. And that's the new tyres fitted yesterday well and truly scrubbed in!  :D

No, didn't find the one in Hereford. Wound up in some right old ghetto looking area (was all part of your evil plan wasn't it?  :lol ). Only road out I could find was for Ross (didn't help that I still had the dark visor on and couldn't see for shit  :eek ), so went there, but did sort my KFC hankering in the end  :)

Gave the bike a decent run out today to see what difference the full monty makes , down the A38 , up through Burrington , down through Cheddar , back onto the A38 towards Burnham , onto M5 , off at Glastonbury junction , headed towards Glastonbury , onto Wells , up the A39 , then A37 back home.
No hesitation when pulling away , not lumpy anymore in 1st gear , accelerates smoothly , on the motorway doing just under 90 at 5.5k , thought i was in 6th , no i was only in 5th , the full monty makes a great bike even better , wish i had it done years ago

Replaced the wheels with the badly worn squared off rear BT023 , old front still ok , with wheels i bought off Luke with  part worn michelin pr3 , ready for the MOT tomorrow .
Went to Fowlers to finish off the finance for the new bike , bought myself a new helmet and cleaning products , got 10% discount due to buying the bike .
Cleaned the fazer , topped up the oil , lubed the chain , checked lights , indicators , horn for tomorrow.
Took the fazer out for a spin , down to Cheddar via the A38 and back home via the A37 , the PR3'S do feel grippier than the BT023'S , but that may be just down to them having more tread .

Fingers crossed for you, hope it goes in your favour, especially as it was a 7hr interview!  I'm lucky if interviews I've had to do lasted 7 minutes :rollin

Got some Michelin PR4's fitted front and back, plan on dropping the yokes 10mm down the forks if the weather is dry tomorrow.
