« on: 04 March 2019, 09:18:22 pm »
so i just bought my fz6 , guy who sold it had just put a hypersport battlax s21 on the rear, front is min tread 1 mm centre, ive just bought battlax hypersport  but bt016 front, tbh didnt see the s21 just saw batlax hypersport  and ordered battlax hypersport for the front, later noticed the rear is S21 my front is a BT016.  ive not fitted the front tyre yet.
just checking is it compatible?

spoke with bridgestone technical dept today. they said that ultimately you would get a better fuller experience if you had 21s front & back however the bt016 pro  font is a similarly multi compound tyre to that of the 21s front and both have 3 compounds each, so the difference would be of a minor nature between the 016 & 21s fronts.

For road riding, id say you may not notice. If you were ragging it in the fast/inters group on a trackday then probably

I'd suggest going for the T31 front and rear, the 016s and 021s are old tyre technology by comparison.
