Just ordered some NGK Iridiums of ebay (CR9EIX) NGKS guide say the CR8EIX is the one for my bike however i've been searching google and alot of companies advertise the CR9EIX for the FZS has anyone used the CR9EIX and will it be ok even though NGK suggest CR8EIX?

Cheers

The difference between the 9 and the 8 is the heat range. The rest of the numbers normally explains the thread type, centre core material (copper etc), amount of earth electrodes and sometimes whether it is a supressor type plug! The small change to my knowledge wont't really make any difference you might just experience shorter plug life!

They shipped from the factory with either 8s or 9s ... so no problem.

Re Iridium plugs ... They actually DO make a difference, but only if you're planning to keep them for a long time because their tips erode more slowly.
If you're going to change them and throw 'em away in 2 years then send them to me ! :D
