Upside down forks
« on: 11 August 2014, 06:16:46 pm »
Am thinking of fitting R1 upside down forks to my Fazer 1000 on an 02 plate.  Anyone got any advice?

Thanks

I fitted a R1 4c8 (07-08) front end to my fazer here is a link to my post. Hope it helps you......http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,11006.0.html
If it's broken, it's not fixed.

Hey up, falcon has a superb guide if you can manage to search it out.  I referred to his guidance when I fitted the 4 x v front end recently.  I gathered the bits together first (forks, yokes, taper rollers and a fazer stem), built the new yoke set and then changed the whole front end as a complete swap, leaving me a complete original front end spare.  I think doing it this way breaks the job up into more manageable, realistic bits.  The results are great as well!
