Hired a 7 year old Hardly Dangerous for a 7 week Great Pacific Highway & Bush ride out in Australia .. Engine was so bad (until I paid to get it rebuilt in week 2) that the crankshaft was in two halves when the guy opened it up!
If it had 'let go' on the move it could have killed us both. Took us 5 weeks to do the 2.500 miles half of it on rainforest dirt tracks or sand and rock desert .. totally crazy .. but quite an adventure.
The brand new UK based Pan European was not much better .. over 12 STONE heavier than a Gen 1 .. yes really !
Stay Safe .. stick with the Den 1 .. best all rounder ever!
