Events, Meets, Ride outs etc / Leicester area to BoTW
« on: 08 May 2013, 10:42:10 pm »
I am planning on going on the Bourton on the water run. In previous years I have lead the way for those in Leicester and further up the M1 to Jacks hill Cafe from Leicester forest east services. Then heading from Jacks cafe to BoTW, and then from there heading back to Leicester up the Fosse Way or maybe this year through Banbury & Daventry.  If you fancy this keep an eye on the Bourton on the water post in events.

General / Q. for though in France.
« on: 11 January 2013, 05:42:37 pm »
This July I am planning a holiday in Brittany on the bike. There is a chance that during this holiday my wife will need fly back to the uk (London) for a day or two. If we book a flight now it is £53. I am thinking of buying it now and if its not needed just take the loss. Anyone have any idea how much a ticket bought a day before at that time of year would cost.

My wife and I will be travelling in France next year on my 600 and have been looking at the luggage options for holding everything, I have told my wife we will have to pack light. So why does this look like the best option, I imagine this chaps wife is in the shot if you look hard enough.    http://www.flickr.com/photos/sm-images/4770990170/#in/photostream/

Looking in E bay and came across this

Now is it only me, but the line about he wants back what he paid for it, I m thinking it looks as if its been kept outside and left to go rusty and he thinks the next buyer should pay him what he paid for it.

General / Television drivers
« on: 28 November 2011, 11:12:10 pm »
Am I the only person who watches television presenters driving at the same time as presenting a television program as wrong.  They drive along with a camera mounted on the dash half an eye on the road and the other on the camera. It is not a good example.

General / A funny I read on another site thought I d share it.
« on: 20 October 2011, 10:28:25 pm »
A man is stranded on a desert island, all alone for ten years.
One day, he spots a speck on the horizon.
He thinks to himself, "It's not a ship".
The speck gets a little closer and he thinks, "It's not a boat".
The speck gets even closer and he thinks, "It's not a raft".
Then, out of the surf emerges a gorgeous blonde woman, wearing a wetsuit and scuba gear.
She comes up to the guy and she says, "How long has it been since you've had a cigarette?"
"Ten years!" he says.
She reaches over, unzips a waterproof pocket on her left sleeve and pulls out a pack of fresh cigarettes.
He takes one, lights it, takes a long drag and says, "Man, oh man! That is good!"
Then she asks, "How long has it been since you've had a drink of whiskey?"
He replies, "Ten years!"
She reaches over, unzips her waterproof pocket on the right, pulls out a flask and gives it to him.
He takes a long swig and says, "Wow, that's fantastic!"
Then she starts unzipping this long zip that runs down the front of her wetsuit and she says to him, "And how long has it been since you've had some REAL fun?"
And the man replies, "My God! Don't tell me you've got a motorcycle in there!"
