I use them a lot, but I'm lucky enough to live near Boston where they are based so just go to the shop
they are a good bunch of lads & most of them are bikers so they know what they are talking about, as said before they are no cheaper than anyone else but their service is second to none

I have Alpinestars and they were certainly tested on our tour of the Alps and didn't leak once despite some of the torrential downpours we got caught in.
They are more than £130 though but worth every penny. The waterproof and thermal liners can be removed seperately so you can insert whichever liner you like or neither.
Alpinestars Bogota Drystar trousers I bought from here.

And the Alpinestars Megaton Drystar Jacket I got from here.

That wasn't torrential Graham it was of biblical proportions at times :eek
All our kit performed well, I never got wet (revit neptune gortex) not cheap but for me buy cheap get wet gonads :D

Serviced the Exup valve, I followed Mikes guide on Pat's site, glad I did as I wouldn't of known about the spacer on the end of the valve that had fallen off of the spindle into the collector box
Cheers Mike :kiss

Not cheap but the Shoei GT air ticks all the boxes, quiet, speaker pockets, sun visor, pinlock, & very comfy
They even make a headset especially for it HERE

+1 for the B500. Doing it from the French border down to the Rhine at Waldshut, can't wait awsome road

I always think of the B500 as a warm up for the Alps (along with the Route de Ballons if you can fit it in). An awesome road that rises and peaks at the Feldbergpass.
The Alps is exactly where we are heading, through Switzerland into France, staying in the Chamonix area

May have a FZ1S for sale this week depending on whether a dealer gets back to me about the new bike I've been looking at.
It's a 2008 (58 Plate) with loads of upgrades. I'm looking for £3500.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM you the full details.
Changed your mind again Graham?? :)

To be fair I don't ride in the rain either unless I have no choice (on tour or on an arranged rideout)
So am I a fair weather rider? yes if I can help it :)
