Fazer 1000 Gen1 fork seals question

Just about to order some fork oil seals from wemoto but they only list 01-03 and not my 04 bike,will they fit?

Probrably - however I ordered and fitted some from Wemoto last year and have just replaced them as the seal material was breaking up. They lasted approx 7 months and 2500 miles!  :'(
Replaced with genuine Yamaha parts from Fowlers.

Ta,I did wonder if they changed the diameter of the fork legs after 2003.


Just had a look on Fowlers site and the price is around the same so I’ll get the qenuine ones,thanks for the heads up.


Oh,and I suppose it would help posting in the correct section. :oops

Forks are all the same size on all the original 4TX-23145-00 seal was replaced by the 5VX-23145-00.  :thumbup
I usually fit OEM seals
