Gear Selector

Hi can anyone help, where my gear selector attaches to the back of my foot peg there has become a lot of movement not so much as wobbling about but  sliding back and too something has worn do I need a new gear selector or is it something to do with the back of the footpeg. cheers Dave

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago which finally turned out to be the knurl screw holding the shift rod onto the shift shaft was not quite tight enough.
