Depending on how it's been laying, may need to check/bleed the brakes.

Don't forget to get your 25% discount  :D

Right guys, rang up HEL and they said that they'd be more than happy to offer a 25% discount for their hoses and all other parts for us, so if anyone wants brake hoses, or any other braking related parts that they do, then give them a ring direct on +44 (0)1392 811 601, let them know that you're a member of the Fazer Owners Club forum, and then order your bits, and you'll get the discount!

Keep the receipt though. I seem to remember reading somewhere that this is the guarantee,  not like leatherman where they just replace it no quibble.

Photocopy/scan the receipt as the original will be blank within a year.  ;)

When there are new replies to a post you've already read, it says 'new' next to the thread title. If you click on the 'new' icon, it should take you to the first unread post.

Hope no foccers were caught up in this.

From the numerous other stories reporting cars driving without lights and at 'normal' speed, a timely reminder of the approaching winter and the need to drive/ride according to the conditions.

Stay safe out there people.

Anyone going?

I'll be there Sunday and Monday as part of the medical team providing First Aid for the crowd. Hopefully we won't be too busy so I can watch some racing as well.

We have two sites (and a trade stand for LIVES, the charity we volunteer with), one opposite the paddocks (I'll be there Sunday morning & Monday afternoon) and the other by the trade stands at the bottom of the Mountain (Sunday afternoon and Monday morning).

Hopefully won't have to meet any of you professionally, but feel free to pop in and say hi (I'll be the tall skinny one with the pony tail).

As long as it doesn't flash and only shows to the front, it's legal.  If it is a filament lamp rather than an LED it should be E marked.  See http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/regulation/11/made

Or maybe not

If you are coming out to Spain anytime soon just be aware it is hunting season for motorists and bikers alike, slightest infringement and they will do you.

Not just Spain unfortunately  :(

That's great news JoeRock  8)

HEL product codes
FZS600 98 - 03   3 line front code = HBF9118
             "     "     2 line front code = HBF9119

FZS1000 01 - 05 3 line front code = HBF9114
               "     "   2 line front code = HBF9115

Haven't found out what the code is for the rear lines yet

Rear lines don't have a code, but the first option on all front lines is 'Add Rear Line', which gives the options Yes Please (+£30.00), No Thanks or Rear Line Only (reduces price to £29.99)

And both of the cagers were idiots, the one trying to pass and the other for not backing off when he (should have) realised what was going on :(

Is there a protocol for this situation.

A few years back I was in a car approaching a bend . Stupid driver attempted an overtake as a bike appeared round the corner. I braked, but so did the other driver. I then stopped braking to allow the car to drop in behind and received a gesture that definately wasn't a foccer salute from the biker and a blast of horn and full beam from the car. Once the bike was clear and we were round the bend, car overtook and then slammed on his brakes (I had anticipated this and backed off accordingly), before driving off , offering a gesture of his own out the window :)

Took my little lad out on the back for the first time. Will be the first of many judging by the grin on his face  :)
