LOL - it wasn't a Fazer, but this reminded me of the mods I made to a 1973 CB 500/4 in the mid 1980's. It had :-
CB 550 F2 petrol tank
CB 750 clocks (home made polished aluminium faces)
CX 500 front forks, calipers, discs (drilled at work), wheel, yokes etc
CBX 550 master cylinder
CBX550 ignition coils
CB 900 push-pull throttle and cables
CB 900 switchgear
CB 650 carburettors
CB 650 footrest plates, pegs, brake lever, gear lever and associated linkages.
Kawasaki Z 650 seat
Kawasaki Z 659 tailpiece and tail light
Spax RD 350 LC shock unit (home made monoshock rear end conversion)
CB 400 N (Superdream) rear wheel
Custom one-off exhaust
Big bore kit (605cc if I recall)
Yamaha XJ 650 headlight
Lots of aftermarket other bits (finned casings, levers, stainless nuts/bolts etc)
In the end, I think only the sidepanels and side stand were as Honda originally provided (Classic and Motorcycle Mechanics printed a little feature on the bike back in 2002)
First incarnation was with CB 550K pipes and in sit-up-and-beg style)
2nd incarnation was in Cafe Racer style, with CB 650 rear-set plates, before everything else was re-fitted
