BT Sport and Moto Gp
« on: 18 June 2015, 07:59:23 pm »
Just received an email from BT, their are going to charge £5.00 per month to continue watching moto gp. You can opt out but have only access to BT sport 1 but no moto gp.

Don.

I will have to check my emails, only reason I have got BT sport is for Motogp. If they are going to charge for it they can stuff it.
I suppose they need the money  to pay for all the foccing football.

That is fuckin ridiculous, I was pissed off enough when BBC lost it and there was no free to view live footage, I currently have the convenience of watching it on the app through a family account!
Some say...

They're also charging £5 a month for the Champions League footy as well. I wonder what's going to be left on the channels that you get "free" with BT broadband?
If the Premiership football gets moved to a pay channel there's no point in remaining with BT for anything.

Just like drug dealers offer the product free to get you hooked then boom, the charges come and as long as there are mugs willing to pay it'll never change.  Life was actually better with the 3-4 channels and sport limited to Saturdays

Just tried to cancel BT Sport online. It says that I don't have a BT telephone line which I do have. I rang BT and it was like pulling teeth. I said that I wanted to cancel it and drop to BT Lite. The next 20 minutes was spent going through my other services and trying to get me to make changes as it would 'save me money'. I was getting a bit pissed off and said that all I rang for was to cancel BT Sport.
Anyway, I've had an email confirming cancellation. Thank goodness that's over. I'm off out on the Fazer to book the £500 service now.

According to the Virgin Media website just now, BT Sports 1 and BT Sports 2 are both included in the XL TV package still. they are not in the lower packages and have no idea if they ever were but my son will be pissed off if we lose it from the XL package as he is watching the rugby on there regularly.

Got email today, pay up or take out a new 18 month contract and get it for free, seems to me that people who use BT sport to watch anything else are in reality  subsidising the football.
Looks like ITV4 highlights and slimwilly vids are the future, until slim decides to charge us :lol
