Back on the road
« on: 04 March 2017, 05:33:45 pm »
Hi guys

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped me out with advice and offering of parts whilst me and my bike were recovering from our accident in January, massive thanks to Graham especially for the engine case as well.

Good news is the bike and I are now back on the road and she is as good as new, new fairing, new mirror's, new engine case, new oil and filter, new clutch, new cables and levers, and of course new exhaust (SP Engineering can sounds amazing by the way😆).

Picture below of how my bike is looking now.

Really wanted to post this just to show my appreciation for this group, everyone on here has been really helpful and friendly and I just wanted to say thanks for it, especially through the tough last mouth.

Cheers again guys ☺

Have to agree - this forum knocks the crap out of any other bike or car forum I've been on ......... by a long friggin mile.
Those are my principles...if you don't like them I have others.

Very nice. Where'd you get the mirrors from? They look different (and nicer) than mine.

Ebay pal, they're not bad, easy to move about, just got to get use to how small they are compared to the originals

Nice one Grant, glad you're back on the road. I've got a very old ART exhaust, they don't make them anymore. Still sounds awesome- appaerently loud pipes save lives.
