So why did you sell the Tracer, thats a lot more modern than a Fazer 600 ???

Just a tail of woe that I encountered on a mates Triumph Tiger last month.
Had an MOT, & riding home lost lights horn everything, but kept running.

I checked through the system & found it must be ignition switch. Removed screen, top faring, headlights,+++
So after removing switch, out of interest I stripped the wires back. (nothing to loose) wires were apprx 14" long, as went into frt faring to junction box.

Two broken wires inside the sheathing, but touched as you turned the bars, so MOT worked at that particular time.
I repaired the wires, re-soldered, refitted. All good.

Personally I would Ditch the immobiliser/alarm. More than likely, water in the immobiliser.  :eek
They are more trouble than they are worth.

Other thing to check is Ignition relay. For the cost of it replace it.

Why, after you have booked your flight, had your holiday, do you get e mails telling you of special deals on flights from where you've been to, where you been from, cheaper than you bought when you went?

Hi Rexer
Let me tell you its a very sad decision to sell the Rex. Had it for 9 years and loved every mile with it.
Just not using it enough so I thought let another person have some fun & that's it really.
Just 800 miles last year.

I've now got a new Suzuki V-Strom 650. And let me say Loving it.

As one gets older one needs a lighter bike, its not much lighter but its more of a change.

The Rex as you know is loaded with Torque & Tours very well.

Its in a very good condition in fact almost Excellent for the year.
Anyone who gets this will not be disappointed..

If it doesn't sell I will obviously keep it and just tax it for the summer.
Insurance for me is very reasonable as two bike policy is only £167. F/C with extras.
R.

Have I missed anything or is this a plan?

Yes
Don't forget you need plastic paint, or paint suitable for plastic. (special stuff)

Head down Bum up.
Just like sports bike riders.  That's why some go faster.

When I was running my workshop I only used Bosch plugs.
Looked closely at the plug made in Brazil.

Whot...I thought they were made in Germany....

Saying that, I cant remember when I last had a duff new plug.
