General / Help please

I'd really appreciate if people would fill in this survey. It's for my Son for his university Honours project and only takes a couple of minutes at most to fill in. The more people he can get to fill it in the better and it needs to be motorcyclists.

Cheers in advance to anyone who fills it in.  :)

« on: 07 October 2012, 05:30:46 pm »
After a little altercation with a 4x4 that somebody waved out of a side junction on me I'm in need of a FZS1000 2005 (Gen 1) headlight unit.  Part Number 5LV-84310-10. I've repaired the old one for now with some flexible plastic and duck tape but don't know how long it will stay waterproof.  :lol

This is what mine looked like.

and post repair.

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Right, which fecker nicked my EXUP valve????
« on: 23 February 2012, 08:28:36 pm »
Decided last weekend that it was about time I serviced my EXUP valve.

After 2.5 hours stripping it down and getting the fecking bolts out I finally removed the external plate (that was all connected up to the cables and everything) and found there's no bloody valve in there.  >: >: >:

Oh well, I've bought some stainless bolts for it today and I'm going to get a peice of 4mm thick stainless plate and make a blanking plate for it. That will do until (or If) I  can get a valve off Ebay.

Had my bike done today by the amazing Falcon269. Cheers Mike, watching you work was quite amazing. I beleive you when you say you could do it in your sleep.  :lol

Rode  back through the Peak District (didn't see a single  :stop ) with a couple of friends on SV650s (well someone has to ride them) and I have to say I am very happy with the improvement. It's so smooth and vibration free. Now I just have to change the plugs and air filter and strip/rebuild the exup valve and i'll be sorted.  :)

Last few miles home on twistys that I know and love were somewhat entertaining.  :lol :lol

Cheers to Karl for making his garage available as well.
