It would be best to go with whatever make gives the most coverage I would have thought. Half the SP one is missing where the lettering is cut out. :lol

That's a fair point haha

To be honest any metal one will do. I bought mine from a company in Germany but I can't find their details anymore.

I did spot this one on fleabay which is a bargain for the price, if you like the look

Look at this on eBay  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272591024465

Have you considered stuffing the boots while your not wearing them? Something like a tin of beans would work just to help wear in the leather and widen out the heel?  There's always the old bucket of water trick too but not sure if that would work on motorbike boots?

At today's exchange rate that's £58 to ya door. Just a shame they don't stock one for the gen 2 :-(

Wow they are very reasonably priced. €39.99 for a belly pan? And €15 for the fixing kit. Even the shipping is only €18 and to top it off it German not Chinese.... bargain

I've always said they should be given community service to the tune of the damage they've caused. If they refuse or re offend then prison. Simple as.
See how much they like stealing when they have to work for the money to pay the victims back
Obviously a good hiding wouldn't go a miss either but nanny state won't ever let that happen

Bulging is not good, think I would be changing them out soon. At the end of the day when you do change them you know they will last a few more years so peace of mind.
Found these on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-FZ1-1000-FAZER-2006-2011-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-SILICONE-RADIATOR-HOSES-BLUE-/161991675476?hash=item25b774ce54:g:l7sAAOSweW5VZM-6

Yeah they are ones I'm looking at from As3 racing.
Going for the black though, I contemplated red but from the pictures I found of bikes with them fitted i realised they're not for me haha

"Look" tatty or falling to bits?

Just an idea but what about that Plastidip rubber coating spray as a livener? It's heat resistant, so why not?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=261966169265&&&adgroupid=39910041817&rlsatarget=pla-329122144924&abcId=1088896&adtype=pla&merchantid=101770481&poi=&googleloc=9045954&device=c&campaignid=805055692&crdt=0&chn=ps

Not a bad idea but a few are starting to bulge and some of the ends are starting to erode after the clips.

Are they any better? I want to replace a couple of my standard ones as they are getting a bit tatty, so looking at buying a kit and swapping them all out if it's worth doing?
Is it a huge job or just an afternoon of tinkering?
