It would be best to go with whatever make gives the most coverage I would have thought. Half the SP one is missing where the lettering is cut out.

Have you considered stuffing the boots while your not wearing them? Something like a tin of beans would work just to help wear in the leather and widen out the heel? There's always the old bucket of water trick too but not sure if that would work on motorbike boots?

Are they any better? I want to replace a couple of my standard ones as they are getting a bit tatty, so looking at buying a kit and swapping them all out if it's worth doing?
