Its leaking, and tabs have corroded off, and it has a big dent in it. Its not great.
mine was the same got it repaired from a company in Glasgow...£45 or he could make a new one for £150

I do like the belly pan... I have full yamaha fairings but it hides that gorgous r1 lump too much... where did you get the pan from?

Looks great.....Have you noticed a difference in performance over the standard can.
haven't been out on it with the new can yet  :rolleyes will let ye know as soon as I do  :)

I have the same can on mine all the way from Naples mine took 3 weeks to arrive, but I must say well worth the wait quality bit of kit, I drilled the revit out of mine and it sounds lovely....... 8)

my bike did the same yesterday.....out a run and I thought right ok time to open it up a bit.....the first ive had it over the ton mark then a felt it slow then catch again
then when a slowed down to bout 30 40 then open the throttle again it would shudder kinda like going onto 3 cylnders
was down at it earlier and started it up seems fine but theres deffo a flat spot low down any ideas.....sorry to hijack the thread

wow what a difference,,,,,noticed right away and when sitting at 30 in top gear open it up an it pulls like a train  :D now to get a nice wee can oh and cheers for the day and the cuppa ;) good to see a few of the guys

Tmation said it all, Stu.  In general, you'll find shorter cans tend to give a bit more at peak rpm but at the expense of a little off the low end.  It's a back pressure thing. :)

Any aftermarket can will work but preferably not a shorty type.  Shorter cans tend to produce less torque low-mid range, although they can give a small gain at peak rpm over a normal length can.

If you leave the removable baffle in place, expect to be a few bhp down on the unrestricted can.
