BTW - your fluke is about as old as the bike..

My Fluke DVM is from around 1990/91 and has the battery in it still from when it was last calibrated around 1995. Still works too.

If you pull the rear wheel to the side and it moves the bearings are focced. Either the swing arm wheel bearings. You need to work out where the movement is.

Your Suggestions and How you can help / MOVED: New shoes!

I get a similar scenario at work when i'm cleaning/unreeling a cable drum that's come back in from a job and i know when it's been reeled up by a left handed person because they will have reeled the cable onto the drum anti clockwise, instead of a right handed clockwise which makes things a bit cack-handed if you're the opposite.  :lol

Turn the drum over and it will go the other way :pokefun

Errr, if you don't get back to biking.....can I have my Boxeye back now you've sorted it  :lol

Ive fitted a replacement fairing and whole new exhaust but not sorted out that feccin annoying cam chain rattle yet. Dont fancy doing it myself and cant afford to pay a dealer to do it at the moment. It will get done soon though and then I can get it resprayed black to get that extra performance out of it :pokefun

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

Pleased to hear you are making progress. Great that you are back working. Quite a long haul.
Must be frustrating with the eyes.  Will that go back to normal with time? Can you drive or ride a bike?

Eye have no idea if they will go back to normal or not. I hope they will. They are getting better.
As for driving and riding, I can and do drive but tend to need a break after about an hour. Not had the bike out since September though but hope to soon.

Getting there VNA. Thanks.

I have been back at work 4 weeks now on a graduated return. Should be full time next week just in time to take the holiday I carried over from last year as a result of the BP.
Paralysis wise, I am 90% recovered now and seeing a physio again on Tuesday. Should get some further improvement. Biggest issue for me has been  my eyes. Inability to focus for any length of time on a screen.

In this subforum, anything goes, unless its too adult themed at which point it gets moved to the naughty corner.

We are all about having fun and dont have brooms stuck up our arses like some forums do.

the spindle dont turn so it wont loosen itself off , if the spindle did turn then yes but it dont do wont undo itself

Agreed, but on the off chance it tried, it would tighten itself rather than loosen itself :pokefun
