Bennetts Insurance a good renewal story
« on: 17 October 2020, 08:58:46 pm »
FINALLY the insurance industry has got it - only raise by a little and I will renew my current.MY last year insurance with Bennetts was £85 and my renewal invite is £95. Gladly pay the £10 so I do not have to go through all the shit of getting Mcn reading confused fecking mearcats quotes and then ringing current and threatening to leave bull sh1t.Thank you Bennetts. :thumbup

I've been with Bennett a few years now and I hate to say it but chances are you would have got it cheaper if you rang them up. Mine was £220 last year and my renewal this year was £260! So rang them up and was promptly told that they had 'forgotten' to add a discount to it and suddenly it was down to £190 🙄
I'm happy to stay with them but this kind of thing still really annoys me.
If I was the kind of guy that just left them to it and renewed regardless then I could see how I'd end up paying more than double what was needed within a few years

I think my insurance is the lowest on their books so I do not think I will get anything less. £250 compulsory excess no voluntary. Fully comp but no pillion if that makes a difference, garaged. and no commuting. 3k per year milage I think it is.

Carole Nash quoted a renewal on my multi bike at £322. Just got a quote from Bennetts at £246. Only CN extra for me is European breakdown..... which I think it unlikely I'll be using soon :(

Bennetts it is.

My Fazer only insurance would have been £68.  :eek

I got a quote from a comparison site for Bennetts for 350 quid.  Phoned them up and got quoted 720 quid.  Went to their web site and got quoted 150 quid.  Nuts.

Bennetts it is.

Bennetts it isn't.
Rang Carole Nash and quote is magically reduced to £240, including European breakdown (should we ever be allowed in).
The annual game we play  :rolleyes
