I use the Senna bike to bike and for music and the like You push the big jog dial button on the side to open the intercom and then again to close it down they are good up to half a mile with line of sight but less if things get in the way The only problem I have is the noise from my screen on the fz1 above about 50 it was ok on other bikes
Radio technology is old hat and one dimensional. I know it works, but it is not adaptable to modern life. Go down the bluetooth route. That way you can connect to each other You can also independently listen to music, sat-nav or any other bluetooth compatible device There is no massive radio in your pocket, so its less weight and bulk The price is about the same And they look a hell of a lot better .I have used a bluetooth headset for the last couple of years. My mate has the same one and we can chat when we are touring. He can listen to the directions from my Garmin Zumo, so doesn't have to "follow me", we can each listen to our own music and we can make and receive calls.
I got blue tooth, radio , hands free phone calls. also the wife chatting on the back.
yes I paired mine, good stuff, phone rings in helmet etc etc etc, also nice chatting with the wife as we ride,
If I want to talk to her, I will take the car.
its nice to speak with the missus lads, otherwise I would just get a new one, mine is great she bought my bike for a present for fathers day from my kids, well they are now 30.
