Cool, thanks for the tips guys. Just got home now and had a look in the dark and I reckon that with a bit of daylight, time and patience i'll be able to pry the seat up enough to get my hand in the gap to fish about for the key.If not, i'll see what I can do with the undertray.CheersBrace
Side panels off and a straight ruler - you can unlatch it this way with a bit of fiddling
i done it once. Heres what you dobrute fucking ignorance and elbow grease and just pull the seat off. No jokeThe lug at the back of the saddle is the offender and its under sub frame. The plastic base of the saddle will bend (and return to shape after) to let the lug pop out from under the subframe. The lock and catch at the front will still be locked but you will have enough at the back to get under and retrieve the key. Its a bastard but if you get the rage it'll be done in seconds. The lug will be a slightly different level after, but it just means it will be a more snug fit when you put the seat back onDONE!!!!!
Brut force sorted it
